Senior Vice President

I’m Rob McLeod, the Senior Vice President at Axis Insurance, where I joined in 2013. Bringing 15 years experience to the insurance industry, my career has been marked by a commitment to delivering exceptional risk management solutions to professionals within the financial services space, including architects, engineers, mortgage brokers, realtors, and lawyers. I am a Chartered Insurance Professional and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker, which is pivotal in guiding architects and engineers through their unique and complex risk landscapes.

Serving on the ACEC-BC Business Practice Committee and the Professional Liability Agents Network board of directors, I bring a wealth of industry-specific insights and connections to my role at Axis. My work at Axis embodies our mission to transform risks into opportunities for growth, providing clients with forward-thinking insurance solutions tailored to their specific needs. My profound understanding of commercial risk management, particularly in business interruption and liability, is specially designed for the unique needs of the design and construction industries.

In 2024, I was awarded the PAL Insurance Brokers Award for Young Achiever of the Year and became President of the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN).

Warren McDonald

Mike Russell

Executive Vice President

I’m Mike Russell, serving as the Executive Vice President at Axis Insurance for 30 years. My time in the insurance industry spans over four decades, where I specialize in professional liability for architects, engineers, and environmental consultants. I possess a deep understand of the complexities and unique risk landscape facing A&E firms, which has allowed me to become a trusted source for risk management within the A&E community. As a Chartered Insurance Professional and an active member of both the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN) and the Insurance Brokers Association of B.C (IBABC), my insights are both broad and deeply nuanced, ensuring comprehensive risk solutions for our clients.

Since joining Axis Insurance in 1993, my focus has been on not just identifying but also educating members of the professions we serve. I have led numerous seminars on loss prevention and risk management, my efforts are aimed at enabling our clients to transform potential risks into opportunities for innovation and growth.

Joining the team in 2024, I bring over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, dedicating much of my career to mastering the nuances of risk and protection in the professional fields of design and construction. My extensive background allows me to provide robust risk management solutions that safeguard the innovative projects and ventures of our clients.

Danielle Wolff

I’m Danielle Wolff, an Account Executive at Axis Insurance, specializing in professional liability. My role centers around helping clients in professional services manage the unique risks of their industries, from health care and life sciences to real estate, lawyers, architecture, and engineering. With a bachelor’s degree and an MA from Wilfrid Laurier University, along with my Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation, I bring a solid foundation to every client interaction.

Currently, I’m pursuing my Chartered Insurance Professional designation, which keeps me at the forefront of emerging risks and solutions. I’m Michael Fan, an Account Executive at Axis Insurance. Joining the team in 2022, my decade-long career in commercial insurance is marked by a deep understanding of risk management, particularly for architects and engineers. Educated at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, I hold a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Diploma in General Insurance and Risk Management, along with Chartered Insurance Professional and Canadian Risk Management designations.

My focus at Axis is on crafting tailored solutions that go beyond policies, emphasizing a client-centric approach. This aligns with our ethos of transforming risks into opportunities for growth.
