Manager, Commercial Lines and Claims

I’m Greg McKnight, Manager of Commercial Lines and Claims at Axis. I lead a team of claims professionals, supporting the Commercial, Aviation, Personal Lines, and High Net Worth departments. My role is to ensure that every claim is managed effectively and every client receives the support they deserve.

With a 39‑year career in insurance, I’ve worked across the industry — for insurers, brokers, and agencies — including roles with AON Re and Marsh Canada. I joined Magnes (now Axis) in December 2004, became Commercial Lines Manager in 2006, and expanded into the role of Commercial Lines and Claims Manager in 2010.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on making insurance work better for businesses and individuals. At Axis, we believe risk can be a catalyst for growth, and I apply that belief every day by supporting our teams and guiding our clients through complex claim scenarios. Helping them understand their policies and making the claim process as seamless as possible allows them to focus on what matters — growing their businesses and protecting their interests.
