I’m Sean Walker, Manager of the Commercial Fleet & Auto Department at Axis Insurance. I lead a team that helps businesses across British Columbia navigate motor fleet and commercial auto risks with confidence. My role focuses on driving sales growth, strengthening client relationships, and building efficient processes that make insurance simpler and more strategic for our clients. 

I began my insurance career in 2017 at BCAA in personal lines and joined Axis in 2019. After gaining experience in fleet and auto insurance and later serving as an Account Executive in VIP Personal Lines, I moved into my current leadership role in 2025. I hold a Level 3 General Insurance License and the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, and I have consistently been recognized for exceeding sales targets and delivering strong client outcomes. 

My expertise includes fleet and commercial auto programs, personal lines knowledge, and client-focused sales strategy. A recent example involved transitioning a commercial auto client into a fleet program, resulting in meaningful cost savings, simpler renewals, and a more streamlined process for onboarding new vehicles. This reflects Axis’s belief that success is shaped by risk and that thoughtful guidance can turn complexity into opportunity. 

I am committed to building a strong, forward-thinking team, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to internal best practices that enhance the client experience. 

Outside of work, I am passionate about ice hockey as both a player and team captain, an experience that continues to shape my leadership, communication, and resilience. I am also learning piano, enjoy time with family and friends, and value personal growth and lifelong learning.
