Commercial Account Manager

I’m Annalisa Parsons, an Account Manager with the Commercial BSAA department at Axis. I manage renewals, mid-term changes, and transportation-related new business, ensuring a smooth experience for our clients. By leveraging my administrative background, I help streamline processes and enhance efficiency within our team.

I began my career in insurance after graduating from Queen’s University in 2021. Starting as an administrator, I quickly advanced to an Account Manager role on our Transportation Team after obtaining my RIBO license. I am currently working towards my CAIB designation to further develop my expertise.

My primary focus is on the transportation sector, with a specialization in passenger transportation across Canada. I help clients navigate complex risks in this industry by providing clear and practical solutions.

At Axis, I align with our vision, “Where risks shape success”, by helping clients manage uncertainty with confidence. Risk management can be complex, but I am passionate about making it accessible and understandable so clients can make informed decisions that support their goals. Beyond my role, I actively contribute to Axis by serving on both the Charity Committee and the DEI Committee. Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors. In the spring and summer, you can often find me in my garden, tending to plants and enjoying the fresh air.
