Senior Account Manager Assurex

Hello, I’m Sunny Singh, a Senior Account Manager on the Assurex team at Axis Insurance. I manage Canadian risk placements on behalf of our global partners. Each local exposure is insured with accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper alignment to Canadian tax standards. My work focuses on providing clarity and guidance so partners understand how Canadian coverages must be structured to protect their clients’ operations with confidence. 

I bring 15 years of experience across Property and Casualty, Commercial Lines, and Underwriting. My career began in New Zealand’s insurance market and continued through more than a decade in Canada. I hold a Post‑Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Management and am currently pursuing my CAIB designation to further strengthen my technical expertise. 

At Axis, I specialize in simplifying complex international placements. I collaborate closely with partners to tailor insurance solutions that address each client’s unique operations across Canada. My goal is to ensure that risks are covered with transparency, accuracy, and careful attention to detail. I am also committed to mentorship and have supported new entrants to the insurance industry throughout my career. I believe knowledge is most valuable when it is shared. 

Outside of work, I volunteer with United Sikhs, contributing to humanitarian and community initiatives both in Canada and internationally. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling with my family, exploring small towns across Ontario, visiting local antique shops, and camping during our annual outdoor trips.
