I’m AJ Abdu, a Claims Account Manager at Axis Insurance, specializing in commercial transportation and financial program clients. I guide clients through the claims process with clarity and steady support, managing losses from first notice to final resolution and helping them understand how their coverage applies when it matters most. 

I graduated from the insurance program at Mohawk College and have built more than six years of experience in claims management. This foundation helps me navigate complex files, interpret policy wording, and manage claims with accuracy and sound judgment. 

At Axis, I focus on commercial transportation and financial program claims across Canada. I take a thorough, solution‑focused approach to both routine and challenging files. I have contributed to improving internal claims practices and helped train new team members, strengthening our team’s overall effectiveness. 

My approach reflects Axis’s commitment to helping clients turn risk into progress. I work to make the claims experience clear and manageable, providing steady guidance and transparent communication so clients can move through challenges with confidence. 

Outside of work, I stay involved in my community through local events and volunteer initiatives. I enjoy exploring new places, spending time with family, staying active, and following soccer and basketball, especially FC Barcelona and the Toronto Raptors.
