I’m Betty Singh, Senior Account Manager for Public Sector+ at Axis Insurance.
With over 35 years of experience in international insurance broking, I help municipalities and public entities navigate complex risks with clarity and confidence. My focus is on creating tailored insurance programs that protect communities and support long-term resilience.

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with more than 250 Canadian municipalities to design programs that address evolving risks and operational priorities. I specialize in structuring coverage for complex exposures, negotiating customized solutions, and ensuring programs deliver both protection and value. My experience includes marketing municipal portfolios, leading risk management seminars, and advising on contractual language to safeguard public entities.

I also bring unique expertise as a Lloyd’s Coverholder, where I managed binding authorities and oversaw claims and audit functions, giving me a global perspective on risk and compliance.

I hold the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation, am a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), and have earned a Certificate in Risk Management (CRM). I am also a Licensed General Insurance Broker in Ontario (RIBO).
