I am Dale Van Der Mark, an Account Executive at Axis Insurance, where I provide risk management and insurance solutions for businesses across diverse industries. I help clients understand their exposures, identify coverage gaps, and make confident decisions in a complex insurance landscape. My focus is on delivering clear guidance, tailored protection, and a consistent service experience from renewal through long term planning. 

I began my insurance career in 2008 with J. T. Insurance Services and have eighteen years of experience supporting commercial clients. I hold the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation and use my technical background to offer practical and informed risk advice. My hands on approach and attention to detail ensure clients receive solutions that align with their goals. 

At Axis, I help clients strengthen their risk management practices through personalized coverage reviews, proactive communication, and straightforward recommendations. I align with our vision of turning risk into an opportunity for resilience and growth by helping clients navigate uncertainty with clarity and confidence. 

Before transitioning into insurance, I spent eighteen years as a PGA of Canada Member managing all aspects of golf course operations. This experience shaped my leadership style and reinforced the importance of teamwork, precision, and strong operational oversight. 

I remain active in my community as President of the Nanaimo Golf Club and as a volunteer with the Nanaimo Riptides Swim Club. These roles allow me to support local sport development and stay connected to the community I serve.
