Account Manager, Commercial Insurance

I’m Emily Weller, a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Axis, based in our Oakville office. My focus is on ensuring clear and timely communication with clients, making their experience as smooth as possible.

I joined Axis in 2023, since then, I have obtained my RIBO license and am continuously expanding my knowledge. I plan to pursue my CAIB certification to further strengthen my expertise.

As part of the General Commercial Practice Group, I work across a diverse range of industries, from manufacturing to transportation and other niche markets.

I embrace Axis’s vision, “Where risks shape success”, by approaching every client question or challenge with curiosity and determination. I use all available resources and collaborate with my colleagues to provide the best possible solutions.

Beyond my role, I actively engage in industry and community events. I’ve attended Young Insurance Professionals of Toronto (YIPT) networking events, the Thrive Youth Anti-Gala, and participated in Relay for Life with Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC). These experiences have broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the insurance community.

Outside of work, I love to read, bake, swim, and build Lego sets as they are a way to slow down and unwind. I also have a passion for travel, with my favorite destination being Sanibel Island, Florida, a place I hope to visit again in the future.
