Senior Account Manager, Assurex

I am Roberto Mancuso, a Senior Account Manager on the Assurex team at Axis Insurance. I support international broker partners and clients by managing cross border placements and guiding organizations through Canadian and Quebec insurance requirements. My focus is on helping clients understand local regulations, align programs correctly, and make confident decisions about their commercial insurance needs.

With more than 30 years of experience in the Canadian insurance market, I have worked with major brokerage firms including Willis Canada, Marsh Canada, Seymour Alper, BFL Canada, and Hub International. My background spans property and casualty, casualty, professional lines, and cyber. I hold an AMF license in Quebec and bring in depth knowledge of the provincial market, including how global insurance programs connect with regional expectations.
At Axis, I work closely with multinational clients to simplify complex coverage issues and provide clear, practical guidance. I also support colleagues across the company by translating documents, emails, and voicemail messages from English to French to ensure accuracy for our clients and partners.

I have mentored many new professionals throughout my career and continue to support teammates by sharing insights and practical industry knowledge. I believe risk can drive better decision making and long term growth when it is understood clearly. My goal is to help clients anticipate exposures, manage them effectively, and treat risk as a strategic advantage.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to the Caribbean, following the Montreal Canadiens and the New England Patriots, and spending time outdoors walking my dog.
