Commercial Account Manager

I’m Stacy Top, Commercial Account Manager at Axis Insurance. I work with small to mid-sized businesses, managing accounts from onboarding through ongoing policy service and support. My focus is building strong client relationships and helping businesses navigate their insurance needs with confidence. 

I began my insurance career in 2004 as a Personal Lines Broker specializing in the 50+ market. In 2010, I transitioned to commercial insurance and have spent more than 16 years supporting businesses as a Commercial Account Manager. I hold a Level 2 Alberta license and am also licensed in British Columbia and Saskatchewan. 

My expertise includes commercial insurance and professional liability coverage for industries such as travel agencies, veterinary practices, and architecture and engineering firms. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of the unique risks these businesses face and how to tailor coverage to meet their needs. 

At Axis, I believe strong relationships are the foundation of good risk management. I take the time to understand what matters most to my clients so I can help identify potential exposures, build the right insurance program, and provide practical guidance as their businesses grow. When challenges arise, I want clients to know they have a trusted advisor they can rely on. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and my two pugs. I’m an avid hockey fan who proudly cheers for the Edmonton Oilers, and I enjoy golfing and spending time outdoors.
