Claims Account Manager

I am Jennifer Rutledge, a Claims Account Manager at Axis Insurance. I guide commercial clients through every step of the claims process and work to make challenging situations clearer, faster, and less stressful. My goal is to ensure clients feel supported by both our team and our trusted insurance partners. 

My insurance career began in 2003 after experiencing my first auto claim. That moment inspired me to start my first CIP course while finishing university and launched a career that has included client-facing roles, adjusting, and now brokerage. This background gives me a complete view of how claims unfold and how to advocate effectively for clients. 

At Axis, I handle claims in property, auto, manufacturing, and aviation across central and western Canada. I focus on clear communication and collaboration, taking time to understand each client’s operations and coordinating with adjusters, insurers, and technical experts to help them recover quickly. This reflects Axis Insurance’s commitment to helping clients turn risk into resilience. 

I enjoy connecting with new professionals in the industry and staying informed about emerging trends that influence the claims landscape. 
Outside of work, I volunteer with local animal welfare organizations, care for my cats, and enjoy growing plants and vegetables since moving to the country.
