Senior Account Manager

I’m Lora Jol, a Senior Account Manager at Axis Insurance. I work across a diverse portfolio of books of business and leading our efforts in the competitive Cannabis industry. My role focuses on identifying risks, developing tailored solutions, and building long-term relationships with clients, underwriters, and colleagues. 

Since starting my insurance career in 2000, I’ve managed a wide range of risks, including Course of Construction, Contractor’s Equipment Fleets, and Automobile Fleets. Growing up in Northern Alberta, I developed expertise in Oil & Gas and its supporting sectors, including Entertainment, Sports, and Hospitality. Navigating mergers, acquisitions, and industry shifts, I’ve built a reputation for adaptability and excellence. 

At Axis, I embrace “Where risks shape success” by creating innovative, scalable solutions that help clients overcome challenges and achieve growth. 
Outside of work, I am a singer-songwriter, performing at events and mentoring youth in music. I also enjoy house-sitting adventures, paddleboarding with my rescue dog, and connecting with local communities through Latin dance and beach volleyball.
