This acquisition represents a strategic expansion for Axis into Alberta’s group benefits and insurance market, deepening its footprint across Western Canada.
Founded in 1997 and based in Calgary, Benemax Financial has built a strong reputation for providing tailored insurance solutions to business owners and their employees.
Benemax was owned and operated by Garth and Charlene Randles, who bring decades of industry experience to Axis. Garth Randles began his career with London Life in the Group Benefits division and has since held senior roles across the Prairies, including District Group Insurance Manager for National Life. His extensive knowledge of group benefits, association plans, third-party administration, and personal insurance will be a valuable asset to the Axis team.
As part of the transition, Garth Randles will join Axis as an Account Executive, focusing on Life, Benefits, and Wealth solutions.
