I’m RJ Farnworth, Senior Vice President and National Practice Group Leader, Assurex at Axis Insurance. I lead our international growth strategy, working with clients and partners worldwide to build cross-border insurance solutions that drive business forward. With over 30 years in the industry, I specialize in helping organizations navigate the complexities of international risk with precision and purpose.

Before joining Axis, I was a Partner and Director at The Magnes Group, where I led the Assurex and International Practice Group. Following Magnes’ acquisition by Axis, I’ve continued to expand our international capabilities. For more than a decade, we’ve been developing bespoke risk management strategies for multinational clients – addressing program gaps, eliminating redundancies, and ensuring Canadian compliance in their global insurance placements.

At Axis, my focus is on creating opportunities through smart, strategic risk decisions. I help clients build the right foundation to grow with confidence – no matter where opportunity takes them.
