Maureen has specialized in aviation and aerospace insurance for more than 25 years and became a founding shareholder in BMG Insurance in 2010. Through the years, she built a successful specialty practice, starting from nothing and competing with the largest broking houses in world. She supported a fabulous team – fondly referred to as “the Gang” – that was respected both locally and internationally for the knowledge and exceptional level of support it delivered every single day. Axis feels lucky to have brought the whole Gang into the fold in June of 2022, with Maureen as Senior Vice President of its Aviation and Aerospace Practice Group.
Maureen is most passionate about supporting clients and advocating on their behalf, ALWAYS. She cares deeply about what she does and about the people around her, believing that in business, if you take care of clients, the numbers typically take care of themselves. She expects a lot from herself and from those she works with and is motivated by helping people and knowing that she’s worked hard enough to develop and deliver the best possible result.
Maureen holds memberships with HAC (Helicopter Association of Canada), ATAC (Air Transportation Association of Canada) and NATA (Northern Air Transport Association)
