Hello, I’m Dorothea Dowling, Senior Vice President, Personal Lines and National Practice Group Leader at Axis Insurance. With 15 years of industry experience, my expertise lies in safeguarding high-value properties and assets, including hard-to-place properties like equestrian facilities. I’ve been recognized as a finalist for prestigious industry awards, like Business Magazine’s Young Achiever of the Year and IBABC PL Broker of the Year, and have a track record of delivering tailored solutions that enable clients to embrace risk and drive success.

At Axis Insurance, I align my work with our mission of empowering clients to thrive amidst risk. Whether it’s protecting prized collections or fortifying international property portfolios, I stand as a steadfast partner in our clients’ journey to growth.

Outside the office, I’m deeply involved in philanthropy as the Co-Chair of the 2024 Arthritis Society of Canada Fire Ball Gala. My culinary adventures, showcased on Masterchef Canada where I placed runner-up, inspire my entrepreneurial ventures, including Theasty and a forthcoming food clothing brand. When not immersed in insurance solutions or culinary pursuits, you can find me enjoying music, sports, or exploring new destinations.
