Hello, I am Maureen Crockett, Senior Vice President, and National Practice Leader for the Aviation and Aerospace practice at Axis. Specializing in insurance for the aviation industry since 1995, my passion lies in identifying, navigating, and conquering the complexities of insurances on behalf of our industry clients. As a client advocate and advisor, I am deeply invested in all facets of their risk management and insurance program, from program construction and negotiation, to claims advocacy and other business supports.
Joining Axis in 2022, with Axis purchasing BMG Aviation, an extraordinarily successful aviation specialist insurance broking company established in 2010 with my business partner Brian Julien, we continue to enjoy the support of our incredible service team. Prior to creating BMG, I worked as a Senior Vice President for a large international insurance broker, leading their aviation team in Vancouver.

I have completed a variety of post-secondary studies in business, finance, and insurance, and prior to selecting aviation as a specialty, I worked in general insurance as a casualty broker focusing primarily on construction and manufacturing related risks, developing my technical skills across a wide variety of coverage forms.

In my personal life, I love to travel, and to spend quality time with my husband of 40 years and our extensive family. I stay active and always do my best to keep things constructive.
