Mitsie Howe

Account Manager Aviation & Aerospace

I’m Mitsie Howe, an Account Manager in the Aviation and Aerospace Department at Axis. I bring 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with previous roles at Hub International and Marsh Canada. I hold a CAIB designation and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and I am licensed in ON, AB, SK, NL, NS, BC, and MB.

I joined Axis in August 2010 as a Commercial Account Administrator. I later advanced to Commercial Account Manager with the Enterprise Team before moving to the Aviation and Aerospace Team, where I focus on P and C coverages. My responsibilities include managing aviation client renewals, supporting Account Executives with presentations, delivering customer service, marketing accounts, binding coverages, and processing mid-term changes. I also prepare certificates of insurance and liability slips.

I serve on the Community Advocate Committee, which organizes volunteer work and coordinates charitable donations to 12 organizations each year.

Outside of work, I remain active in community service. I was recently elected as the Ontario Conference Executive Coordinator for the Adventurer Club, a faith-based youth organization with more than 65 clubs across the province. I mentor young people in character development and life skills. I also founded Golden Silence Ministries, a faith-based sign language choir.
