Francoise Hill

HR Generalist

My name is Francoise Hill, and I am a HR Generalist at Axis Insurance. I manage the full employment life cycle for our team, focusing on onboarding, employee engagement, performance support, and offboarding. My goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where people feel valued, connected, and equipped to succeed. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Management in Human Resources from the University of Melbourne. My career began in a fast paced tech startup, where I gained practical experience supporting scaling teams and building HR foundations in a rapidly evolving environment. 

I later worked with a boutique HR consultancy and supported clients across financial services, professional services, technology, digital marketing, and healthcare. This experience strengthened my adaptability, business understanding, and ability to tailor HR solutions to diverse organizational needs. 

At Axis, I bring a strategic yet hands on approach to human resources. I focus on building strong internal culture, improving retention, and ensuring our people have the tools and support they need to perform at their best. This work directly aligns with Axis Insurance’s vision of helping clients navigate risk with clarity and confidence. By supporting our employees, I help ensure that the quality of service we deliver to clients remains exceptional. 

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring British Columbia through hiking, road trips, and snowboarding. I stay active with Pilates and strength training, and I have a strong interest in travel, languages, and local arts and cultural events.
