I’m Roshana Akram, Talent Acquisition Manager at Axis Insurance. My role centers around identifying and securing top-tier talent to drive our company’s success. With a strategic approach, I lead the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring we attract and retain the best professionals in the industry.

With over a decade of experience in HR and talent management, I’ve honed my skills in talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance. My journey has taken me through various roles, from technical recruiting to managing HR operations, which has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the recruitment landscape. At Axis Insurance, I’ve developed and implemented an in-house recruitment department, established KPIs, and received the ‘Unsung Hero Award’ for my exceptional contributions.

My expertise lies in talent identification, strategic planning, and process improvement. By leveraging innovative sourcing techniques and data-driven strategies, I ensure our recruitment efforts align with business objectives and future hiring needs. My focus is on enhancing the candidate experience, improving hiring efficiency, and promoting our organizational values and culture.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Canada. I’m also passionate about cooking and experimenting with new recipes, which allows me to bring creativity into my everyday life.
