About Melissa Rioux:

“Melissa is an Account Manager and Marketer with over 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, ranging from Personal and Commercial Lines to Management. Currently, she provides service and support for Harold Lewingtons commercial book of business as well as marketing support through the Axis Commercial Group Marketing Team.

Melissa is passionate about helping others and doing the right thing, even if its not the easiest path to follow. She believes in the philosophy of working hard while also being kind. Being able to learn new things and findings solutions for clients motivates Melissa in her work. She upholds the value of integrity by being true to her word and making sure to follow through on her promises.

Prior to working in the insurance industry, Melissa developed her professional skills through her work in various other industries including food, travel/hospitality, and healthcare, as well as through her previous education at SAIT Polytechnic where she obtained a Health Information Office Assistant Certificate in Medical Reception. Her experiences have helped her build the standard of service she holds herself accountable to towards clients, underwriters, and co-workers. This standard of professionalism is evidenced by Melissa having been awarded the Calgary White Hat Award for Excellent Customer Service.

Melissa is currently working on her CAIB designation.
