About Matthew Stefaniuk:

“Matthew is a Director of Broking Services & Account Administration on the Commercial Lines team. Holding both CIP and CRM designations, Matthew has 8 years of insurance experience in both commercial lines and personal lines, primarily in management positions. He began his career in insurance as a Direct Writer at Canadian Direct Insurance and then progressing to Sales Unit Manager, Web Team Unit Manager and Quality Team Unit Manager all at Belairdirect Insurance. He then pivoted as a Commercial Underwriting Manager at Intact Insurance. Prior to acquiring his insurance designations, Matthew also acquired a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan with a focus in Marketing and Human Resources.

Currently, Matthew leads a combination of Commercial Lines Assistants in the Processing Team, Account Administrators, and Account Managers at Axis Insurance. In this role, Matthew specializes in people development, coaching, management, initiatives, process improvement, and strategy.

Matthew is passionate about helping people and seeing them develop.
