I’m Tim Gale, Executive Vice President of Commercial Insurance at Axis Insurance. With over three decades in the insurance industry, I’ve worked primarily on the broker side with global firms in  both Calgary and Vancouver. At Axis, I focus on managing and developing our industry-focused practice groups and commercial sales teams,  ensuring high quality solutions for our clients, and growing the Axis brand across  Canada.

My professional journey includes roles as a broker, client advocate, and leader in corporate risk and broking operations across diverse industries including natural resources, real estate, construction, transportation, professional services, hospitality, and others. My background in law, certifications in risk management and financial analysis, as well as my diverse experience, has shaped my approach to helping clients manage risk and employ insurance as an effective risk financing tool.
