I’m Matthew Stefaniuk, Director of Commercial Lines for Broking Services & Account Administration at Axis Insurance. With over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, I bring a holistic and strategic business perspective to every initiative. My focus is on supporting and elevating our Broking Services and Account Administration teams, while collaborating with our Sales teams to ensure we consistently exceed client expectations. I’m passionate about continuous improvement, both in people and processes, which leads to a better experience for everyone involved.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed expertise in leadership, change management, risk analysis, and operational effectiveness. My Canadian Risk Management, Chartered Insurance Professional, and Bachelor of Commerce designations further enhance my ability to drive results. I’ve been recognized with sales and innovation awards and have led diverse teams in administration, talent development, quality assurance, and underwriting.

My role allows me to explore opportunities and threats, collaborating with others to push the boundaries of what our tagline, “Where risks shape success,” truly means. Outside of work, I’m committed to self-improvement, whether through exercise, running, snowboarding, or golf. I’m also an avid reader and enjoy activities that challenge my boundaries. As a devoted Saskatchewan Roughriders and Tottenham Hotspur fan, I’ve learned that persistence always pays off—whether in sports or life.
