Senior Account Manager, Aviation and Aerospace

I am Mireille Larosa, Senior Account Manager in the Aviation and Aerospace practice at Axis Insurance. As the dedicated Property and Casualty lead for our national aviation portfolio, I support a wide range of aviation and aerospace organizations with the placement and ongoing management of their insurance programs. My work focuses on helping clients understand complex risks and ensuring their coverage supports operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth. 

With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, I have built a career around complex commercial risks. I began as a Directors and Officers liability underwriter before moving into broking roles across professional liability, manufacturing, and mining. Experience in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver gives me a national perspective, and I support clients in both English and French. I hold the CAIB designation, am completing my CIP, and maintain licensing across all provinces and territories.
 
Within Axis, I specialize in Property and Casualty insurance designed for aviation and aerospace operations. This includes advising on operational, contractual, and regulatory exposures, as well as specialty coverages such as Directors and Officers liability, Cyber, and Pollution. I collaborate closely with our teams to provide clients with an integrated experience that includes dedicated P&C expertise and dedicated claims support, reinforcing Axis’s full-service approach to aviation risk. 

My work emphasizes clear guidance and practical insight, helping clients understand their coverage, anticipate evolving risks, and align insurance strategy with their goals so they can navigate risk confidently.  Beyond my work at Axis, I advocate for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and founded the Tour de Canuck Place, a 2000 kilometre ride supporting children with life threatening illnesses. My own hospice experience shapes my commitment to purpose driven community work. I also enjoy endurance sports, travel, music, photography, and culinary exploration.
