Senior Account Manager

I’m Terry Newell, Senior Account Manager in the Professional and Financial Services department at Axis Insurance. I provide dedicated support to Rob McLeod’s Architect, Engineer, and Real Estate Brokerage clients, ensuring a seamless experience with insurance solutions, contract reviews, and marketing assistance. My strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and positive team spirit help deliver exceptional service and results for our clients. 

Before joining Axis, I spent 20 years as a property manager, overseeing commercial properties, residential rentals, and strata corporations. I’ve also worked as a realtor and managing broker. Since transitioning to insurance in 2015, I’ve specialized in Real Estate insurance and hold my CAIB designation. Currently, I’m expanding my expertise in Professional Liability for Architects, Engineers, and Real Estate Brokers, working with clients across British Columbia and Canada.

Outside of work, I’m an avid podcast listener with a passion for true crime and political commentary. I enjoy staying active in the local dog owner community and love exploring new places on foot. As I continue to grow in my role, I’m excited to deepen my contributions to the Axis team and our clients.
