I’m Dane Gorton, and I lead the Business Development and Marketing team at Axis Insurance.

In this role, I blend innovation with a deep understanding of the industry to create strategies that drive our brand and client engagement forward. With over 14 years of experience in insurance, I’ve specialized in commercial and personal insurance, focusing on the real estate, hospitality, and professional liability sectors.

Since diving into the digital space in 2015, I’ve combined traditional insurance expertise with cutting-edge digital marketing techniques. I’ve developed sales pipelines, marketing strategies, and led multiple brand launches that exceed expectations. This balance of experience and innovation allows me to guide our team in delivering unique, compelling experiences for our clients, perfectly aligned with Axis’s mission to embrace risk and shape success.

Outside of work, I’m an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, which complements my passion for economics, finance, and exploring emerging technologies like Bitcoin and AI.
