I’ve spent the past 35 years focused on helping commercial clients, bringing both business insight and technical insurance expertise to the table. Over the years, I’ve worked as an Agency Manager, Business Owner, and Account Executive. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside both independent business owners and a wide range of public companies.

I take the time to understand each client’s unique needs so I can help them manage risk effectively—whether through traditional insurance solutions, guidance on contracts, or planning for growth and diversification that might require new types of policies and protection mechanisms not previously considered or needed.

I have extensive experience traditionally honed in the Resource Sector including Forestry, Mining, Oilfield support services, and Commercial Construction and over the past decade expanded to include Manufacturing, Indigenous-Owned Development Corporations, and Technology-Focused Businesses.

I began my career with AON in Vancouver, then joined Finning International where I ran their Insurance Agency supporting Western Canadian Resource Clients. After building and growing that business, I followed the entrepreneurial path of many of my clients and co-founded Axis Insurance in 2005. Our firm later joined the Vertical Group (now rebranded as Axis Insurance), and I’m proud to continue working here alongside a client-focused team that is committed to excellence.
