I’m Melanie Yuen, Manager of the Personal Lines team at Axis Insurance. Leading a team of direct reports, I strive to mentor and coach my colleagues, address challenges with innovative solutions, and implement changes that align with Axis’s corporate values. My commitment to growth includes fostering strong relationships with my team, clients, and underwriters while staying ahead of industry trends and underwriting guidelines. 

After over 15 years in the insurance industry, I joined Axis in 2017 as an Account Manager and have since advanced to Assistant Manager and now Manager of Personal Lines. I am Level 2 licensed and currently pursuing both CAIB and RIBO designations. My expertise spans all areas of Personal Lines insurance, including home, marine, and travel coverage, ensuring our clients receive tailored solutions for their unique needs. 

At Axis, I live by the tagline “Where risks shape success” by delivering exceptional client service and building trust through lasting relationships. A strong sense of teamwork and approachability allows me to support both my team and our clients effectively. 

Outside of work, I enjoy cruising and exploring on our powerboat, cycling, cooking, and hosting gatherings with family and friends. These passions keep me grounded and energized to continue delivering excellence in my professional role.
