I’m Blake McGarry, Senior Vice President of Life, Benefits & Wealth at Axis Insurance, where I bring over 15 years of experience in financial services. My career journey began in entry-level sales and led me to become a National Vice President in just eight years. Along the way, I realized there was often a gap between what clients needed and what they were receiving. To bridge this, I committed myself to refining my expertise by strategically working at some of Canada’s top financial institutions, accumulating numerous accolades and awards for both individual performance and team success.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on delivering innovative group benefits and retirement solutions that do more than just retain talent—they empower businesses to foster a culture of peak performance by supporting their teams’ physical, mental, and financial well-being. I also specialize in tailored estate planning, helping Canadians protect their wealth and legacy from taxes and market risk. At Axis, my goal is to help clients achieve long-term success through holistic solutions that meet the evolving needs of the modern workforce and secure their financial futures.

Outside of work, my passion for learning and competition continues to drive me. My family is my greatest achievement, and on weekends, you’ll often find me cheering my kids on at the hockey rink or soccer field, or hitting the golf course and ski slopes. I also take pride in my homemade pizza skills, which have earned rave reviews at our weekly Friday family pizza and movie nights—a reminder that there’s always more to discover and enjoy, both personally and professionally.
