Naz Alemi 

Account Administrator, BSAA

I am Naz Alemi, an Account Administrator with the Commercial BSAA team at Axis. In this role, I support commercial lines by managing documentation and processing a wide range of policy transactions. My work involves close collaboration with account executives and account managers to ensure accounts remain accurate, organized, and up to date. I also assist with servicing existing business and supporting new opportunities and internal initiatives, helping the team deliver consistent and reliable service. 

I bring four years of insurance experience, beginning immediately after graduating from the University of Calgary. During this time, I have built a strong foundation in commercial insurance administration and client service. I hold a RIBO licence as well as an Alberta Level 1 licence, which supports my work across regulatory environments. 

Within the Commercial BSAA team at Axis, my focus is on providing clear, dependable administrative support that enables account teams to operate efficiently. Our team works closely with clients in the technology and mining sectors, where accuracy, documentation, and responsiveness are essential. I approach my role with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail to ensure coverage information is properly assessed and documented. 

My work supports Axis’s vision, Where risks shape success, by proactively managing renewals, documentation, and policy changes to reduce friction and prevent gaps in coverage. By helping address potential issues early, I contribute to a smoother experience for both clients and internal teams. 

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and spending time with friends and family, which helps me stay balanced and brings a positive perspective to my work.
