I’m Jenn Kent, a Senior Account Manager and Team Lead at Axis Insurance. With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, I help clients navigate complex commercial and agricultural risks while supporting the growth and development of our brokerage team.

My career began in personal, farm, and commercial insurance. Over time, I developed a specialization in commercial and farm risks, with a particular focus on difficult-to-place accounts. Since 2017, I have worked alongside Russ Stewart, continuing to expand my knowledge and strengthen a client-focused approach built on collaboration and long-term relationships.

I work primarily with clients in agriculture, manufacturing, construction, life sciences and research and development. These industries often face unique challenges and evolving risk exposures, making it important to have practical guidance and insurance solutions that align with their operations and objectives.

My approach is straightforward and transparent. I believe clients should have a complete understanding of their coverage before making important decisions. That sometimes means having difficult conversations about risk and potential exposures. When clients have the full picture, they can make informed choices with confidence. Building that trust is one of the most important parts of my role.

Mentorship is also a significant focus of my career. For the past 12 years, I have helped train and support new brokers, serving as a resource for technical knowledge and guidance. Seeing the next generation succeed is both personally rewarding and an important part of building a strong team.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my significant other and my dog. I also travel home to Newfoundland whenever I can to visit family and enjoy time at my cabin in Montana. Those connections help keep me grounded and reinforce the importance of relationships in both business and life.
