Account Executive

I’m Rob Park, an Account Executive specializing in General Commercial Lines at Axis Insurance. My focus is on expanding our presence in Alberta—working alongside businesses in tech, real estate, and small to mid-sized enterprises. I’m here to make insurance more accessible and transparent, ensuring our clients have the clarity they need to move forward with confidence. I believe technology can enhance service, but it’s the human connection that drives long-term success. 

My career began in real estate, where I partnered in a practice that delivered over $500 million in sales, built on trust, honesty, and education. After more than a decade, I transitioned to fintech as COO at Helcim, where we scaled from startup to a recognized industry leader. We built a platform from scratch, grew the team from 15 to 150, and navigated every challenge that comes with rapid growth in a highly regulated space. Along the way, I earned a Hall of Fame award in real estate, was named to The Peak’s Emerging Leaders list in 2022, and helped Helcim secure Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Culture and Deloitte Fast 50 awards. 

At Axis, I apply this experience to help clients navigate risk. Everyone has a “risk budget,” and how you manage it determines which opportunities you can pursue. My job is to minimize unproductive risk so clients can focus on growth.

Beyond work, I stay connected to community through mentorship, guest lecturing, and volunteer initiatives. When I’m not doing that, you’ll find me exploring Alberta’s mountains, catching up on design trends, or enjoying time with family and friends.
