About Kari Montes:

“Kari is the VP of Systems & Administration as well as VP of Personal Lines. Over the course of more than 20 years in the insurance industry, Kari has become experienced in all lines of General Insurance, ICBC Autoplan, Private Automobile, Travel, and all types of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance. Kari also has over 13 years of experience in senior insurance management roles, including budgeting and business planning, implementing plans and monitoring targets, building insurer relationships, and developing and implementing best practices and efficiencies with broker management systems.

With a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) Honours Designation, Kari enjoys making connections with people and is passionate about developing and implementing processes that improve productivity and efficiency to help people be their best.

Kari is also the former President of the BC Chapter of the Applied Client Network, the largest group of educators and advocates for users of Applied Systems Software. Under Karis leadership, the BC Chapter won the coveted Chapter of the Year award in 2017.

Karis educational background includes a Bachelors of Music (Distinction) from the University of Victoria, a Masters in Music Theory from the University of British Columbia, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser Universitys Segal Graduate School.
