Head of Carrier Relations

I’m Bryan Craigen, Head of Carrier Relations at Axis Insurance. As a member of the senior management team, I’m responsible for strengthening and advancing our partnerships with key insurance markets, ensuring performance excellence, and collaborating to create products and services that address client needs and market gaps. By staying ahead of emerging industry trends, I help position Axis at the forefront of insurance solutions that support both our clients and partners.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, my career began as a broker before transitioning to a leading Canadian P&C insurer where I was accountable for broker channel performance and strategic leadership. Over the past decade, I’ve built a strong foundation in people leadership, business strategy, and sales across a diverse range of business lines. I hold a business management diploma from Camosun College, a CAIB designation, and a Certified Marketing Specialist designation from the Canadian Marketing Association. I am also currently pursuing my MBA through the Edinburgh School of Business.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf and hockey, and I am a proud father of two young children. My priority is to spend time with them and ensure they are exploring a variety of activities as they grow.
