My name is Charles Beckley, and I am an Account Executive in Axis’s Construction, Contractors and Real Estate practice. I help contractors across Canada navigate construction insurance and surety with clarity and confidence. With more than 15 years of insurance experience and over a decade specializing in construction and bonding, I focus on building programs that support project delivery, financial strength, and long term growth.

I work with contractors, developers, design build firms, engineering groups, and consultants involved in civil, commercial, and major infrastructure projects. My areas of expertise include construction insurance, bonding strategy, contractor prequalification, project risk mitigation, and contract compliance. My approach is straightforward: understand a client’s risk profile, simplify complex requirements, and create practical solutions that help them move forward confidently.

Before joining Axis, I held senior roles at Aon, BFL, and HUB International, earning national performance awards and developing strong relationships across the construction sector. I am a Level 3 General Insurance Broker licensed in five provinces and hold active Powers of Attorney with several major surety companies. I hold my CIP and CAIB (Hon.) designations, a master’s degree in economics, and I am currently completing my FCIP and the Associateship in Canadian Surety Bonding.

Throughout my career, I have contributed to the growth of construction focused practices, participated in industry education and networking, and supported collaboration within both the insurance and construction communities. I was recently recognized as a Champion Member for 2026 by the Calgary Construction Association.

At Axis, I work with clients to strengthen financial presentations, structure bonding programs, review contracts, and navigate claims and project specific requirements. This reflects Axis’s vision of helping clients use risk as a catalyst for success.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing the piano with other instrumentalists, running or taking long walks, spending time with friends, traveling, and playing racquet sports.
